Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and respectful individuals who enjoy helping others. A great Cozy Heart caregiver is someone who has patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
Caregiver Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with daily routines
- Supporting meal preparation and light household tasks
- Assisting with mobility and safety reminders
- Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
- Providing support for seniors living with memory challenges (Alzheimer’s and dementia support — non-medical)
Requirements
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and respectful individuals who are passionate about supporting seniors and helping others live comfortably at home.
- Compassionate and caring personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and respectful attitude
- Ability to provide safe and respectful non-medical care
- Previous caregiving or home care experience is an asset
- Background check required
- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
- A valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are considered an asset, especially for caregivers who provide transportation support or accompany clients to appointments and community activities
